My name is Nathan Callender, and I've always wanted to make shirts with my art. I've been drawing my whole life, and bought some cheap equipment and started DUSTBONE APPAREL in 2013. I learned how to make shirts from scratch, upgrading my equipment and process as I went along. Hard work and dedication paid off, and here I am. I served 9 years in the Air Force, and am currently a Captain with the fire department. I've been a paramedic since 2003, and have much love for fellow emergency responders and other veterans. 'DUSTBONE' is a combination of two words, 'DUST' and 'BONE.' It's what we are, and what we become. Our logo is the three eyed owl, a symbol of awareness and wisdom, the three eyes representing the concept of DESTROY, REBUILD, REPEAT. Those three elements represent the constant cycle of growth and change. I have two kids, a daughter in college and a son in the Air Force currently stationed in Germany. I'm married to my best friend Piper, who helps keep this thing afloat and manages operations. When you receive a product from us, it's made, packaged, and sent from our hands to yours. It's been a fun and exciting journey, and we thank you for being a part of it. -Nate.
